How does Irish Acres CSA work?

Irish Acres CSA members pledge support to the farm by subscribing to our weekly fresh vegetable and fruit boxes in the summer, sharing the risks and benefits of food production with the farm. Our produce is grown without the use of any chemical fertilizers or pesticides/insecticides; we grow using organic practices, and heirloom/non-gmo seeds. Pest control is done using beneficial insects, chickens & ducks and we make our own fertilizers from the biodiversity of our fam. 

We ensure you a share of the harvest and you ensure us a reliable market. We grow over 30 types of vegetables, melons, and berries to fill your box with peak flavor and freshness each week.

You can also choose to add-on farm fresh eggs, meats, and goat milk products as available.

Your harvest box includes

• Cooking vegetables: Beets, Broccoli, Cabbage, Carrots, Onions, Winter Squash

• Salad vegetables & greens: Lettuce, Spinach, Kales, Chards, Arugula, Radish

• Salad mix: Our fresh mix of greens including up to 12 different types

• Seasonal varieties: Berries, Cauliflower, Sweet Potatoes, Herbs, & other delights!
